A Relationship Of Mutual Relevance

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS WITH BELIEVERS

Reading: Ephesians 4:29-32
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[32] Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Paul introduces the concept of kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness. These virtues are the threads that weave the fabric of mutual relevance.

When we approach one another with kindness, maintaining tender hearts that empathize with the joys and struggles of fellow believers, we cultivate a community where every member is seen and valued.

As we embrace kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, we build a community where mutual relevance is not just a concept but a lived experience—a testament to the love and grace that bind us together in Christ.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we be sober to forgive, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Relating In Humility

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS WITH BELIEVERS

Reading: Ephesians 5:21-33
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[21] Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

The call to submit to one another in reverence to Christ sets the tone for our interactions within the family of faith. It is a call to mutual respect, acknowledging the worth and value of each member.

Paul further illustrates the beauty of Christ-like humility within the context of marriage. While the husband must love the wife, the wife must submit in respect to the husband. This is not a hierarchy of power but a dance of mutual love and respect.

Whether in friendships, families, or the broader community of believers, let us approach each relationship with a servant heart, imitating the selfless love of our Lord.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, give us a servant heart to imitate Jesus' selfless love. Amen.

Remain In Christ To Be Relevant

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: John 15:5-6
_______________________

‭‭John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[5] “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

To remain in Christ is to stay intimately connected, drawing sustenance and strength from the source of all life. It is a call to intertwine our existence with His, allowing His truth and love to permeate every facet of our being.

In this union, we find purpose, direction, and the ability to bear fruit that lasts.
The temptation to seek relevance through worldly measures is ever-present as we navigate the complexities of our world.

Yet, Jesus reminds us that true and lasting significance is found in our connection to Him. Apart from this vital relationship, our efforts are futile, like branches severed from the life-giving vine.
Stay in Christ and be fruitful.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we never loose connection with Christ Jesus. Amen.

Called To Partake In The Divine Nature

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: 2 Peter 1:3-4
_______________________

‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[3] His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

This divine partnership transforms our lives, making us vessels of His grace and conduits of His love in a world desperately in need.

We are endowed with His divine power, enabling us to live a life characterized by godliness, virtue, and an unwavering commitment to His purpose. Let us approach each day with a consciousness of this divine calling.

Do Not Live Like The Gentiles Do

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: Ephesians 4:17-24
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[17] So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.

Living as the Gentiles do is a life marked by ignorance and spiritual darkness. However, as believers, we are called to a different standard. We are called to put off the old self, with its deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of our minds.

We must be intentional about our thought patterns and the desires that govern our hearts. The renewed mind is not merely a change in behavior but a transformation from within.

Dear friend, true relationship with God involves aligning our thoughts and desires with the truth and light of God's Word. Let us be renewed in the spirit of our minds.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we be renewed in the spirit of our minds, in Jesus' name. Amen.

For Me To Live Is Christ And To Die Is Gain

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: Philippians 1:20-21
_______________________

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[21] For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

To declare, "For me to live is Christ," is to acknowledge that every breath, every step, and every decision finds its meaning in Christ. It is an invitation to align our ambitions, joys, and struggles with the transformative power of His love.

Our lives become a living testimony to the richness found in a relationship with the Living God. And death, for the believer, is not the end; it is a transition into the fullness of God's presence.

Let us, like Paul, embrace this dual perspective on life. As we live, may our actions reflect the love, grace, and purpose found in Christ. Death is not a fear but a doorway to eternal joy in the presence of our Lord.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, align us in Your will in all situations, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your Body Is The Temple Of The Holy Spirit

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
_______________________

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:20‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[20] you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Our relationship with God involves not only the surrender of our hearts but the stewardship of our bodies. Imagine, the Creator of the universe has chosen to reside within us. What a humbling and awe-inspiring reality!

The decisions we make in our bodies impact not only our well-being but also the sanctity of the temple within us. In honoring the temple, we honor the One who chose to make His home in us.

In a world often consumed by the pursuit of fleeting pleasures, let us remember that our bodies are not our own. They are on loan from God, designed to be vessels of His light and love.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we stay in step with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Our Relations To God

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: Romans 12:1-2
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[1] Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Our connection to God goes beyond ritualistic offerings; it involves a transformative engagement of heart and mind. To present ourselves as living sacrifices means embracing a life of devotion, where every action and thought aligns with God's will.

Surrender is not a sign of weakness but a testament to trust. God desires a relationship with us that goes beyond mere conformity; He longs for our hearts to be molded by His love.

Dear friend, let our lives be living testimonies of the renewing power of God's love, as we allow Him to transform our minds and guide our actions.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, take hold of our minds, in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Takes No Pleasure In The Death Of A Sinner

Theme for the Week: SALVATION IS AVAILABLE TO ALL

Reading: Ezekiel 18:21-23
_______________________

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:23‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[23] Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

God takes no pleasure in the death of a sinner. Instead, His heart longs for reconciliation, redemption, and the restoration of every wayward soul.

This emphasizes the divine desire for repentance, urging us to turn away from our transgressions and embrace the path of righteousness.

Our mission is to share the good news that salvation is available to all, and God's joy is found in the repentance and transformation of every individual. Let us encourage all to turn God no matter what they may have done, for the Sovereign Lord is ever ready to save everyone.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:

Live In Harmony With One Another

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Romans 12:14-16
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[16] Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

To live in harmony means to extend kindness, bless rather than curse, and empathize with those from diverse backgrounds. This harmonious living is rooted in the love of Christ, transcending differences and fostering unity.

Living in harmony aligns with God's desire for His children to be ambassadors of peace and love. It is a tangible expression of our faith and a powerful testimony to the transformative work of Christ in our lives.

Our lives must resonate with the call to live in harmony, not only within our faith communities but also in our interactions with all those we encounter.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we be ambassadors in unity and love, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Humanity Is Re-created Through The Cross

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Ephesians 2:14-18
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[18] For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

The cross is not just a symbol of redemption for individuals, but it also signifies the re-creation of humanity as a whole.

Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, the dividing wall of hostility between different groups of people has been torn down. This means that all humanity can be reconciled to God and to one another, regardless of their background or ethnicity.

The cross is a symbol of love, grace, and unity. Its message reminds us that in Christ, we are part of a new creation, a new humanity that transcends the barriers that once separated us.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we recognize our newness in Christ, in Jesus' name. Amen.

In Christ, We Are Abraham's Seed

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Galatians 3:28-29
_______________________

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:29‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[29] If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Through faith in Christ, we become part of a spiritual family, and our lineage is traced back to Abraham.

It doesn't matter where we come from or our cultural background; our identity is rooted in our relationship with Christ. In Him, we are all children of Abraham, and the promise of God belongs to us.

This calls us to recognize the unity we share as believers in Christ. We are bound together as part of God's family, and we should extend this unity and love to everyone we encounter.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, unite us in Christ Jesus, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Promise Is By Grace To All Abraham's Offspring

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Romans 4:16-17
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[16] Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

God's promise to Abraham was not dependent on works or any human merit. It was a promise rooted in His grace and faithfulness.
This promise extends to all of us who, like Abraham, put our faith in God and trust in His unfailing love.

Our response to the Gentiles should mirror God's response to us—full of grace, love, and acceptance.

We should be ambassadors of the promise of God, sharing the promise with all Abraham's offsprings, and inviting them to become part of the family of faith.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, use us as instruments to draw all men to Yourself, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Abraham Is Father To All Who Believe

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Romans 4:11-12
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[11] "And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised..."

Abraham, the father of the Jewish people, is not only their forefather but also the spiritual ancestor of all who put their faith in God. The circumcision of Abraham was a sign of his faith and righteousness before God, not just a mark of his nationality.

Faith, rather than lineage, is what truly matters in our relationship with God. As believers, we are all children of Abraham by faith, and this bond unites us in a common heritage of trust in the Almighty.

Dear friend, let us recognize that God's love and salvation are available to everyone who believes, and our faith in Christ makes us part of a much larger family.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, increase our faith in You, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Response To The Gentiles

Theme for the Week: THE RESPONSE TO THE GENTILES

Reading: Romans 11:17-21
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[18] do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

The response to the Gentiles in the early church teaches us about the inclusivity of God's grace, knowing that God's salvation is entirely by grace. As believers, we are called to welcome all who seek God, just as the wild branches were welcomed into the cultivated tree.

It reminds us of the importance of humility and faith. We should not boast over the natural branches (the Jewish people) but instead stand in awe of God's mercy.

With a heart of gratitude to God, let us cultivate a spirit of humility, unity and inclusion in our communities, extending the love and grace in Christ to all, just as God has graciously included us in His plan of salvation.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord God, may we grow in the spirit of humility to welcome all others into Your kingdom, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Cleanse Out The Old Leaven

Theme for the Week: THE RELEVANCE OF THE JEWS TO OUR SALVATION

Reading: 1 Corinthians 5:7-11
_______________________

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[7] Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Paul draws a significant parallel between the Jewish Passover and our Christian faith. He identifies Jesus the Christ as our Passover lamb, whose sacrifice provides spiritual deliverance and salvation.

Just as the Jews were to remove leaven from their homes during Passover, we are called to remove sin and impurity from our hearts and lives through faith in Christ.

Beloved friend, let us walk in the freedom and salvation offered by our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, and recognize the essential role the Jews played in God's redemptive plan.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, purify us in the blood of the lamb, in Jesus' name. Amen.

A Righteous Branch

Theme for the Week: THE RELEVANCE OF THE JEWS TO OUR SALVATION

Reading: Jeremiah 23:5-8
_______________________

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[5] “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

Jeremiah's  prophecy points directly to Jesus Christ, the ultimate fulfillment of the promised Messiah. He is the Righteous Branch from the lineage of David, who came to establish a kingdom of justice, wisdom, and righteousness.

The Righteous Branch has come, and in Him, we find the fulfillment of God's promise and the hope of salvation for all who believe.

May we be grateful for the faithfulness of God and His plan to bring righteousness and justice to the world through Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord God, fulfill Your promise in us, in Jesus' name, we pray Thee. Amen.

God's Plan Of Salvation To All Nations

Theme for the Week: THE RELEVANCE OF THE JEWS TO OUR SALVATION

Reading: Genesis 12:1-4
_______________________

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[3] I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

The divine call to Abraham marks the dawn of a covenant, a sacred promise from God. It not only holds great significance for the Jewish people but also for all of humanity.

The message of hope and redemption, initiated in the call to Abraham, was fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Dear friend, let us be messengers of this universal hope, sharing the good news that through Jesus Christ, *all people* have access to God's redemptive plan and have been reconnected to the kingdom of God.

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

Theme for the Week: THE RELEVANCE OF THE JEWS TO OUR SALVATION

Reading: Acts 4:10-12
_______________________

‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[12] Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Peter makes it unequivocally clear that it is through Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah, that salvation and healing have come. There is no alternative path to reconciliation with God; it is through Christ alone that we find salvation.

The salvation offered through Jesus is the ultimate manifestation of God's love and grace. It is a gift to all humanity, made possible through the faith and heritage of the Jewish people.

Beloved friend, let us be grateful for the gift of salvation through Christ, embracing it and becoming instruments through which others will get to know.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may You locate all with Your free gift of salvation through Christ, in Jesus' name. Amen.
