[21] Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
The call to submit to one another in reverence to Christ sets the tone for our interactions within the family of faith. It is a call to mutual respect, acknowledging the worth and value of each member.
Paul further illustrates the beauty of Christ-like humility within the context of marriage. While the husband must love the wife, the wife must submit in respect to the husband. This is not a hierarchy of power but a dance of mutual love and respect.
Whether in friendships, families, or the broader community of believers, let us approach each relationship with a servant heart, imitating the selfless love of our Lord.
