Denying God by Actions

Theme for the Week: RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH IN CHRIST

Reading: Romans 4:4-5
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[4] Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation.

Our deeds and actions hold great weight in our faith journey. When we choose to live in ways that deny God through unrighteous behavior, we negate the essence of faith.

True faith in Christ is demonstrated not just in words, but in how we live our lives.

Let us take a moment to reflect on our actions and their alignment with our faith. Do our choices and behavior affirm our faith in Christ, or do they, in fact, deny Him?

Beloved friend, let us remember that righteousness by faith in Christ is not merely a concept but a way of life, a life that honors God through our actions.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may our lives be a reflection of our faith in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Not By Works Of Righteousness

Theme for the Week: RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH IN CHRIST

Reading: Titus 3:5-7
_______________________

‭‭Titus‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[5] he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

It's a common human tendency to believe that we can earn our righteousness through our actions, striving to be worthy in the eyes of God. However, Titus 3:5-7 teaches us a different truth.

The good news is that this salvation is a gift, freely given to us through Jesus Christ.

We become heirs of eternal life, not because of anything we have done, but because of God's unmerited favor and love for us.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we never boast of the righteousness we've attained through Christ, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Righteous By Faith In Christ

Theme for the Week: RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH IN CHRIST

Reading: Romans 10:1-13
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[9] If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

In a world where many strive tirelessly to be deemed righteous by their actions, the Bible reminds us that it is through faith in Christ that we attain true righteousness.

This righteousness is not about perfection in our actions but about our relationship with Jesus, the ultimate source of righteousness.

Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. So, let us not only receive this gift for ourselves but share it with others, for it is through faith that we become vessels of God's righteousness and grace to the world.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may You draw all men to this saving grace in Christ. Amen.

In today's passage, Jesus teaches that riches and human effort, without God at the centre, cannot secure entry to the kingdom of heaven.

Also, regardless of the obstacles we face or the challenges that seem insurmountable, God's limitless power can overcome them all.

May this truth inspire us to approach life's challenges with unwavering faith and to extend a message of hope to those around us, reminding them that "With God, Everything is Possible."
