Created To Be Like God In Righteousness

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: Ephesians 4:21-24

Ephesians 4:24 (NKJV)
and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

The nature of the new man in Christ is Godlike, just what God made from the beginning (see Gen. 1:26-27). Coming into Christ is a restoration of our true self, which was made in true righteousness and holiness.

God is righteous and holy. As people having His image, we must live a righteous and holy life.

Beloved brethren, does your life reflect true righteousness and holiness, then you are living the new life in Christ. If that is the opposite, then it is high time you realized that you are a person created to be like God in righteousness and holiness. Remember who you are and live for the Lord.
Stay blessed! Shalom.

Let's Pray
And so, Father, we praise You. Mighty God, strengthen us to live for You. We also pray for all those who have forgotten their identity that they may remember who  they are and live for You, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

You Are An Ambassador Of Christ, So Live For Christ

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV)
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

An ambassador lives not for himself or herself, but for the country they represent. According to the English dictionary, an ambassador is a minister of the highest rank sent to a foreign court to represent there his sovereign or country. He is an official messenger or representative.

As Christ's ambassador, you represent Christ officially here on earth, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. Many Christians have left this and are representing themselves instead.

Dear friend, God never counted our iniquities on us, but trusted us with His ministry of bringing the whole world to Himself through Christ. Let us live for Christ as His official representatives.
Shalom.

Let's Pray
Almighty Father, we give You Glory. All praise to You, o Lord God for not counting our sins on us. Empower us to live for Christ as His ambassadors. Amen.

Live And Serve To Please God

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: Romans 14:15-18

Romans 14:18 (NKJV)
For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.

The secret to having all other things has still not changed from what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33. Pleasing men is part of the other things that will be added after seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

It is obvious that every one wants to be approved of others. However, first choose to serve God. Choose to live for Him.

Let others see you and give glory to God. They may initially want to having nothing to do with you, but they will have everything to do with you in the end. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Shalom.

Let's Pray
Almighty God, be glorified. With my whole life will I seek You, o Lord, my God. Amen.

Find Out What The Lord Wants And Do It

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: Ephesians 5:15-17

Ephesians 5:17 (NIV)

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Do you want to live a purposeful and fulfilling life? Then, find out what the Lord wants and do it. Make good use of every opportunity that comes your way.

It does not matter where you are right now or the position you may be holding. Maybe, you are in school or perhaps at the work field. Maybe, you find yourself at home, but have you ask of the will of God concerning you?

Dear friend, the masses are not always right, so do not follow the masses to sin. Live for the Lord. Get to God in prayer; ask of His Will and follow regardless of what others may say or think of you. Live a purposeful and fulfilling life in the Lord.

Stay blessed.

Let's Pray

Heavenly Father, hallowed be Your name. Lord God, show me Your will that I will follow, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Do Everything To The Glory Of God

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:30-32

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Many people, including Christians, do things to seek for the glory of men. The intent for their actions is self gratification and man glorification.

However, it is inappropriate to attribute the glory of God to self or another. This is something God do not take lightly, for He is a jealous God who will never share His glory with any man.

As Christians and children of God, we owe it all to Jehovah, so let us not seek for self gratification and glorification. Let us do everything for His glory, and His glorify will illuminate our lives in ways man can ever fathom.

Stay blessed.

Let's Pray

Heavenly Father, hallowed be Your name. Lord God, I owe everything to You. May I seek to always please You, and You alone, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Transformed Person Lives For The Lord

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD

Reading: Romans 14:5-12

Romans 14:8

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Have you ever considered why you're alive? Do you know that the Christian believer never lives for himself or herself but Christ's?

As Christians, our freedom from sin puts us under Christ who sets us free, and makes us accountable to Jehovah. This is why we no longer live for ourselves when we believe, but according to the dictates of the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, my friend, quit pleasing yourself or others and start pleasing the Lord. Do not yield to anything that brings honour to man including yourself, but not God; for we belong not to ourselves, but the Lord's so let us live for the Lord.

Shalom.

Let's Pray

Almighty God, I will forever praise You. Father, may I live the life You purposed for me from the beginning of time through Christ Jesus. Amen.
