The Beginning Of Creation

Theme for the Week: GROANING IN HOPE - CREATION

Reading: Genesis 1:1-5
_______________________

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the beginning, there was nothing but darkness. It was a formless void, a state of emptiness and uncertainty. Yet, even in the midst of this darkness, there was a groaning of hope, a longing for the light that would bring order and purpose.

In an instant, the groaning was answered when God spake, and light burst forth, banishing the darkness. We all experience moments of darkness, times when we feel lost and unsure of what lies ahead. Yet, just as God's creation began with a groaning in hope, so too can our own journeys of creation.

We each have unique gifts and talents that would bring forth light where there is darkness, hope where there is despair, and love where there is fear.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, help us to co-create with You, that we would transform the world with You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
