Theme for the Week: GROANING IN HOPE - THE HOLY SPIRIT
Reading: John 14:15-17

John 14:16 NIV
[16] And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—
Jesus assures His disciples that if they love Him and keep His commandments, He will ask the Father to send them the Holy Spirit as a Helper. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, would dwell within them forever. Jesus reminds them that the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit, but as believers, they have the privilege of knowing and experiencing His presence.
The Holy Spirit comforts, convicts, and empowers believers, guiding them in truth and revealing God's Word.
As we groan in hope, let us remain steadfast in love for Jesus, obedient to His commandments, and open to the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, allowing Him to lead us closer to God and empowering us to live abundantly for His glory.

Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, fill us with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.
