Bless the LORD, O my soul!

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: Psalms 103:1-10

Psalms 103:1 (NKJV)
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.

Indeed, the LORD God has been good to us and He alone deserves our praise and thanksgiving. His loving kindness and mercy has He showered us with from the 1st January, 2022 till today, 31st December, 2022.

We cannot forget all His benefits. Even when He was angry at us, it was but for a short time; for He did not impute our sins on us. He has given us life and a hope for the future.

O my soul, bless the Lord, and forget not all His benefit. He redeemed your life from destruction and satisfied your mouth with good things.

Beloved, draw near to the Lord; appreciate His goodness. Tell your soul that God has been good. Let us bless the Lord with all that is within us.
Hallelujah!

Let's Pray:
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Amen.

Play Your Part Well

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:21-26

1 Corinthians 12:25 (ESV)
That there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

Do unto others as you want others to do unto you: this is the general rule for life that is ascertained by putting together God's Law and the Prophets (see Mt. 7:12). Many people want to be appreciated, but don't want to appreciate others.

Christianity is not just about yourself; it is about getting involved in the lives of others. Whatever you do as a believer must seek to exalt others also. Do not be like those who seem to figure out the speck in others, while there is a beam in theirs.

Do you want to be appreciated? Play your part well. Acknowledge the role of others in your life; appreciate them, and you shall be acknowledged and appreciated for what you do in the lives of others.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Mighty LORD, You deserve all honour and praise. Father, empower us to play our parts well in the lives of others as agents of change, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember Your Humble Beginnings

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: 1 Chronicles 29:11-14

1 Chronicles 29:14 (NKJV)
But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You.

Nothing is of our own self: all things come from above. By God's mercy and grace, we are who we are today: it is not by our strength, nor by our might.

Remember your humble beginnings. What do you have that wasn't given you of God? You may boast of things you accomplished by your strength and might; but who gave you that strength and might?

Remember your humble beginnings and give glory to God.
Appreciate what God has done.
Appreciate those who helped you along the way.
Don't be forgetful: don't be ungrateful. Count your blessings; see what God has done, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done. Selah.

Let's Pray:
O LORD, You are exalted as Head above all. Father, teach us to remember where we are coming from. Amen.

God of Commendation

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: Matthew 25:14-23

Matthew 25:23 (KJV)
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

It doesn't take much to commend someone for their good work done or their generosity unto you. The Master said, Well done, good and faithful servant... These are words of encouragement that boost the morale of a person to do more.

Our God is a God of commendation. So far as you can acknowledge Him in anyway, He shall reward you one way or the other. There is one thing God cannot do and that is to go against His word, thus He said, I have exalted my word above my name.

Just as God is commending, so must we be as His children. We must portray His nature to the world. We should appreciate and commend even the little things people do for us, and we shall be called the children of our Father.

Shalom.

Let's Pray:
God of commendation, we honour You. Father, may we never hold back commendation from those who deserve it, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Where Are The Nine?

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: Luke 17:11-19

Luke 17:18 (KJV)
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

Familiarity has made many people to disregard the little things that may promote them in life. Such people see no reason to be grateful. "After all, why should I appreciate my family member, friend or someone I know for helping me out," they say.

However, the transformed person in Christ should not have such a mindset. We realized that the Stranger was not just cleansed like the other nine, but he was made whole.

If we can be appreciative for the little things that others do for us, we can experience their complete attention that calls for more.

Don't be like the nine, who didn't appreciate what God has done for them; be like the stranger, and you shall draw more blessings to yourself.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we honour You. May the spirit of familiarity not cause us to be ungrateful, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Please, share to bless others.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance

Don't Be Ungrateful

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON APPRECIATES OTHERS

Reading: Deuteronomy 8:10-18

Deuteronomy 8:11 (NIV)
Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.

Most people are ungrateful because they forget too easily. They seem not to remember what others has done for them. Moses left the Israelites for just 40 days, and they seem to have forgotten all that God did for them in Egypt and even in the wilderness.

Another thing that makes people ungrateful is relying on their strength. Many think of their strength and abilities as ultimate. To them, they have what they have, because they put in much effort.

Nonetheless, they forget to ask yourself where their strength comes from. If you think of it as being more careful, think of who gave you that wisdom to think that way.

In every day of your life, people make impact in you. Even those you may think are not worth your gratitude have thought you a lesson for life, and such you must not forget, but be grateful.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, we thank You. Father, may we not rely on ourselves to forget your impact through others in our lives. Amen.

Be a blessing to others in this Christmas festive. Happy boxing day and a Merry Christmas.

Jesus Teaches Response To Our Enemy

Theme for the Week: OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD

Reading: Matthew 5:38-48

Matthew 5:44 (KJV)
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Jesus teaches a new way of responding to our enemies. To the world, this may be seen as a cheat, since one would feel cheated. As for the Christian, it is called love.

The world is okay to embrace an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth way of responding to things. As Christians, we must imitate the nature of our Father, which is full of love and mercy. It is in the nature of our Father to bless and not curse; so must we.

All vengeance belongs to God. Therefore, let us not take the position of God, who has the ultimate punishment. Leave everything to God: bless and not curse, and you shall be a blessing.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, we thank You. Father, fill me with Your love that I repay no evil for evil, but for good, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Peace With Your Enemies

Theme for the Week: OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD

Reading: Proverbs 16:6-7

Proverbs 16:7 (KJV)
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

The ways of God are so deep that they cannot be fathomed among men. How can your enemy be at peace with you without course? It is only God who can bring this into fruition.

In life, most people turn to focus on what they cannot bring to pass, leaving in idle what they can do. You must know that you cannot please your enemy, so do not waste your time on that.

Instead, let the peace of God guide your heart and mind. Focus on pleasing God, and when you have pleased Him, even your enemies will be at peace with you. Selah.

Let's Pray:
LORD God, You are worthy of all praise. Father, teach me Your judgment that my ways will be pleasing unto You. Amen.

Please share to bless others.

Thank you.

Do Not Wish Your Enemy Dead

Theme for the Week: OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD

Reading: 1 Kings 3:11

1 Kings 3:11 (NIV)
So God said to him, "Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice,

Many people would not hesitate to wipe out all their enemies when given the least chance. Rarely would one want their enemies to live, because they are a threat to their life.

Solomon was given the opportunity to ask what he wanted from God, but all that he could ask was wisdom, knowing too well of the enemies his father made. Just as little as it may seem before men, it has the tendency to accumulating all things to itself, thus Solomon talk of it as the principal thing (see Proverbs 4:7).

You do not need your enemies dead before you can prosper or make it in life. I believe Solomon learnt this wisdom from his father, David. You enemies should be a witness of your greatness and all that God will do with your life.

If you wish them dead, they cannot learn their lesson; when they see you glorified, they may glorify God and repent. Focus on being right with God and to please Him, and He will make even your enemies to live at peace with you (see Proverbs 16:7).
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Most Gracious Father, we thank You. LORD God, may our enemies live to see You glorified in us and give You give glory in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Please, share to bless others all. Thank you.

Save Your Enemy

Theme for the Week: OVERCOMING EVIL WITH GOOD

Reading: Exodus 23:4-5

Exodus 23:5 (NIV)
If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it.

It is very obvious what many would do seeing their enemy in pain. Although they might be able to help ease the pain of their enemy, they will not do so, but rejoice that their enemy has gotten what they deserve.

This should not be so with the believer and follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even in the times of revenge, where an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth was the order of justice, God gave a law to be kind to enemies. Yes, it is true that some enemies you help might in turn cause you greater harm, we should not stand on that to refrain our help while we possibly can.

While we were yet sinners and enemies of God, He showed us love (Rom. 5:8). As children of the Father who shows love to even His enemies, we must emulate Him and save our enemies in any way possible.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, be praised. LORD God, fill us with love for our enemies Christ Jesus. Amen.

Please, share to bless others also.

As today is my birthday, I have a gift for everyone who reads this devotion.

Devote Yourself To Prayer

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: Colossians 4:2-4

Colossians 4:2 (NIV)
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Have been praying for something far too long without answers? Have you called on God for someone's sake, but that seems fruitless? Are you weary in prayer without results? Loose not hope; God is about doing great and marvelous things in your life and those you prayed for.

Continue in prayer. Devote yourself to it. Persist in it. There is breakthrough ahead. God is clearing out the way for a greater glory. He has heard you, so do not weary down. Do not give up too easy as the devil expects: put the him to shame by devoting yourself to prayer.

The best time to pray is when you think God is not hearing you. When you are filled with guilt; pray. When you are weary; pray. When all things seem impossible; pray. Pray that souls will be won for God through Christ. Pray that people will be ready to take the work of the ministry, and that the unadulterated word of God will be preached.

Dear friend, prayer is a supernatural drive for every believer, so devote yourself to it. Pray for yourself, family, friends, and even enemies that they all will come to the saving knowledge of God in Christ. Also, pray for your pastor and all preachers of the Gospel. Let the alter of prayer for all people be raised in your home; for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, be magnified. LORD God, strengthen us to pray, even in our weakness, knowing that You hear us always through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Pray For The Nation

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: Jeremiah 29:7-14

Jeremiah 29:7 (NIV)
Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

Praying for the nation and its government is something that is rarely done by most believers, but it is very necessary for us and the Gospel entrusted in our hands.

When there is peace in the land we live, we can preach the Gospel with ease. It is obvious that no one would have time to listen to you in times of war. When there is famine in the land, only few would want to hear a message of hope.

No matter where or which situation we find ourselves, the Gospel must be preached. As we pray for the preachers of the Gospel, let us pray for the nation we find ourselves in; that there would be peace and prosperity in the land. And we know that when there is peace and prosperity in the land, we shall enjoy them in full measure.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, be magnified. LORD God, may Your peace and prosperity reign in our nation that Your people will prosper through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pray For Those Who Govern

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: 1 Timothy 2:1-4

1 Timothy 2:1 (NIV)
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people

Governance is an institution of God (Romans 13:1-5).  Where there are good leaders, there will be a good government.

It is very vital to pray for those who govern, if not for anything, for the work of the ministry. Thus, Paul urges believers to intercede for all people; mentioning all those in authority.

Our prayers have a way of turning things around in this world. To the mind, it is unfruitful and something which cannot be understood, but it is real. Let us not cease to pray for all people and for our leaders; that they may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
All powerful God, we praise You. Father, may our leaders get to know and fear You; that they may lead a quiet and peaceable life through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Intercede For Your Friends

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: Job 42:7-10

Job 42:10 (KJV)
And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Praying for friends who sticks more than a brother is easy, but praying for friends who despise you for taking up a good course is difficult, although not impossible.

There are friends who will criticize and despise you for taking up the Gospel, especially those you left in the dark to pick up the light. Do you have to neglect them abruptly? Certainly not!
You may reject their criticisms, but not the persons.

Beloved, our friends are needed of God, no matter their behaviour towards God. It is our duty to pray for all our friends that they might be saved, and for those who know God that they grow in their fellowship with Him.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Most merciful God, we adore You. Father, we pray that You reveal Christ unto our friends that they might come to You and fellowship with you, through Christ. Amen.

Intercede For Your Family

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: Job 1:4-5

Job 1:5 (KJV)
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

When a law is enacted, it is binding on everyone one, whether you know about it or not, thus it is said that ignorance of the law is no excuse. This was first found in Leviticus 5:17-19 where anyone who disobeys God's law without knowing is guilty of it.

Job was much concern about the spiritual welfare of his family, so he interceded regularly for them. As the father, he was the priest of his house, who cares dearly for his family that he did not want them to fall in the hands of God.

Family is the first point of contact in everyone's life. If your family would know God as you have known Him, you must intercede for them. Unlike in the Old Testament where burnt offerings were made, our offering can be seen in the time we allocate for our family in prayer.

Dear friend, let us regularly sacrifice some time each day to pray and plead with God to help our family live a life pleasing unto Him.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Most merciful God, we thank You. Father, as You have been merciful to us, so we plead with You that You be merciful to our family and draw them closer to Yourself. Amen.

Watch and Pray

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL

Reading: Nehemiah 4:7-9

Nehemiah 4:9 (KJV)

Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.

Great persecution comes with channelling a good cause. However, fighting back do not solve it, but escalate things. The best way to stay on purpose is to pray to God for protection and then apply the wisdom He gives you.

Nehemiah and his people realized this, so they first called on God and then focused on what was before them instead of their foes, as the keep guard. Never be misguided by the fear of persecutions; face them with prayer and wisdom.

The Gospel of Christ is the greatest thing that happened to man, and any attempt to make it known would call for the highest persecutions. Nevertheless, since the Gospel is of God and is not ours, let us hand the battle that comes with it to God through prayer.

Do not stop at prayer, apply the wisdom of God and be guarded that they may not fall on you unaware. Watch and pray.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Omnipotent God, You have all power. We pray You, o Lord, that You protect every preacher from their persecutors and grant Your people the wisdom to be guarded in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Transformed Person Prays For The Preachers Of The Gospel

The Transformed Person Prays For The Preachers Of The Gospel

Sunday, 11/12/2022

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PRAYS FOR THE PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL
Reading: Romans 15:30-32

Romans 15:30 (KJV)
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

Prayer, just like many other rituals of the Gospel, has been left in the hands of the little few, although it is the duty of every believer to pray always.

In today's scripture passages, Paul enlightened us of what  prayer can do for the ministry. To the preacher, prayer brings; protection (vs. 31), favour (vs. 31), joy (vs. 32). These things are necessary for the continuity of the spread of the Gospel.

As Christians, we have been charged to Go and make disciples of all nations (Mt 28:18-20). Although this responsibility of ours has been left for some people, we can support them with our prayers no matter where we are or they are. The Gospel of Christ must go.

Our donations and monies are necessary, but not complete without constant prayers for the preachers. Let us strive with these preachers in prayer that they will be delivered from persecution; that they will be favoured, and that their joy will be fulfilled in the souls won to Christ.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Most Gracious and Merciful God, we thank You. Lord, we stand with all preachers of the Gospel, and with one accord, we pray for safety and favour so that their joy will be fulfilled and we all will be refreshed hearing the souls that turned to You through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Why Do You Glory In Mischief?

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: Psalm 52:1-9

Psalms 52:1 (KJV)
Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.

Most people think of success and accomplishment as goodness, but that is not always so. For instance, a gambler may succeed and become wealthy through gambling, but that does not make it right.

In the account in 1 Samuel 22, Doeg was successful in killing eighty-five priests and their families, something another could not do. Although this was a great success and accomplishment to him, it was evil and wickedness.

Dear friend, be mindful of what you glory in. Do not boast in evil for God to strike you down. Boast in the Lord God whose goodness endures continually. Glory in the Lord, and He shall make you like the green olive tree in the House of God.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, faithful are You. Lord, may we never glory in mischief, but in righteousness that we may be established in You forever, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Sufficiency Is Of God

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: 2 Corinthians 3:1-6

2 Corinthians 3:5 (KJV)
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

It is obvious that you can only boast in either self or in God; it cannot be both. Humility is needed if one could think of God as their sufficiency.

This is what Paul is teaching us here today, because no matter what, your power, wealth and wisdom will be incomplete without God's help. Having known this, we can boast in God; for our sufficiency is of Him.

Dear preacher, do not boast because you are able to preach well:
Dear prophet, do not boast because you can carry out all the gymnastics in prophecy:
Dear miracle worker, please, do not boast because you can wrought all kinds of miracles:
Dear giver, do not boast because you can give abundantly;

Know that without God's help through the Holy Spirit, you cannot be competent even with your talent. Let the lives God impacts through you be your living Epistles. Glory in the Lord; be a witness of Christ and not of self, knowing that our sufficiency is of God.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, faithful are You. Father, our sufficiency is of You. May You keep us humble always that we will be competent to take the charge You have given us through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Boasting In The Lord

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

1 Corinthians 1:31 (NIV)
Therefore, as it is written: "Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord."

There are many things to boast of in the flesh. People boast of their wealth, wisdom and might. However, these are not worth boasting of, since they do not stand the test of time.

The Lord commands that we glory not in wisdom, might and riches, but that we glory that we understand and know Him (see Jer. 9:23-24). This is because, in times of adversities, these things that seem to have power become nothing.

The Lord is everlasting. He exercises loving-kindness, righteous and judgement. He takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. He takes the poor to confound the rich. He takes the weak to confound the mighty. If we have anything to boast of in this life, it should be in the Lord.
Hallelujah!

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, Your are righteous and just. Father, upon all the wisdom, riches and might that You gave man, You gave us Your Son. In Him we shall glory for He makes us understand and know You. Amen.

Glory In The Cross

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: Galatians 6:12-16

Galatians 6:14 (NIV)
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Most people want to show off their in life, especially when they can do what others are not able to do. Such people look down on those who are unable to act as them.

There is one thing worth boasting in; the cross of Christ. When you pick up the cross of Christ, you declare that you will henceforth have nothing to do with the pleasures of the world, and you embrace the persecution that comes with it.

Taking up the cross of Christ means separating yourself from the world, although you still live in the world. You no longer engage in things that please you, but those that please God. Be willing to be crucified to the world and boast in the cross of Christ. Selah.

Let's Pray:
Faithful  and true God, You are forever glorified. Lord, may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Amen.

Reason To Glory

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: Philippians 2:15-16

Philippians 2:16 (NKJV)
holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Any labor in the Lord is never in vain. Faithful is He who has called us and He will surely keep His word. He is steadfast to His promise, even when we fail to keep ours.

There is a reason, whether good or bad, for everything we do. We have every reason to Glory in Christ, since we will never run in vain in Christ.

Beloved friend, have a reason to glory in the Lord. Hold fast your calling. Run the race. Be faithful to the end, and you can really boast that you have not run in vain.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Faithful God, we adore You. Lord, we know that You are too faithful to fail; for faithful are you who have promised us. May we run the race You have set before us with all diligence that we will have every reason to glory in Christ. Amen.

How Should You Live?

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: 1 Peter 4:10-13

1 Peter 4:11 (NIV)
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Do you know that your ability is for the glory of God and for the benefits of others? What God has given you, whether the ability to preach the Word, or to give whether to the poor or for the sake of the ministry, is for His glory.

Nothing should be attributed to self, but God. Man owns nothing by himself; everything was given man of God. Therefore, as people of God, we should live our lives to please Him who has provided us with everything that we have.

Dear friend, hold fast to what God has given you. Use it; do not waste or hide it. Let others have the full benefits of your ability so that they may testify that Christ is in you, and they shall give glory to Jehovah through the Christ they have seen in you.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Abba Father, be praised. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto You, o Lord, my strength. Amen.

The Transformed Person Glories In Christ

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON GLORIES IN CHRIST

Reading: Romans 15:17-22

Romans 15:17 (NIV)
Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.

What do you glory of? Is it something birthed out of self, or what God did through you? Can you have something to boast of in the Lord? These are questions we must answer each day.

There may be many things to be proud of, seeing the success and progress in our lives, but those things should not be vainglory. Your glory should not always be in what God is doing through others; but what He is doing through you.

Beloved, you must know that it is not sinful to be proud of what God has done through you, in that you are giving God the praise He deserves. It becomes a sin when we attribute what God is doing through us to ourselves. Let us glory in the Lord for His great works done in us and through us.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Everlasting Father, we give You all the glory. Lord God, may we never boast in ourselves, but in You for Your great works in us and through us, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Message To Be Proclaimed

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PROCLAIMS JESUS

Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:1-5

1 Corinthians 15:3 (NIV)
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

The Good News is that the Christ, who died for our sins, never remained in the grave, but resurrected. The is the message to proclaim.

If Christ did not resurrect, we would have been the worst people on earth, and there would have been no message to proclaim. But indeed, history bears witness that our Lord Jesus Christ never remain in the grave.

Dear believer, we have a message to proclaim. Let us arouse the world of sin; let it know that Christ died and resurrected for the sin of all men according to the scriptures.

Tell the world that Jesus Christ, who died and resurrected, is able to save and redeem from the penalty of sin, which is eternal destruction, not just in hell, but in the lake of fire.

Beloved, maybe you never knew this which is why you have not accepted Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. Today is your day. Christ died and resurrected for our sins, so never look back! Accept Him today and help spread the Good News to all men. Christ saves all, including me and you.
Stay blessed! Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this glorious message to proclaim. Lord, give us the strength to proclaim this Good News to the utmost part of the world, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Prayer Factor

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PROCLAIMS JESUS

Reading: Colossians 4:2-3

Colossians 4:3 (NIV)
And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

There is a song that says;
Prayer is the key (2×)
Prayer is the master key
Jesus started with prayer
He ended with prayer
Prayer is the master key.

He who learns to pray achieves great. Prayer communicates to God that we cannot do it by our strength, and that He is the Supreme over all. It is a proof of a humble and gentle spirit.

Prayer opens door for the Gospel of Christ. It makes the impossible possible. Therefore, dear friend, let us not allow pride to lead us, but prayer, so that every door that has been closed to the Gospel of Christ Jesus may be open for us to proclaim Christ.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, be glorified. Lord, may every door that has been closed to the Gospel of Christ Jesus be opened, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Fact Of Hell

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON PROCLAIMS JESUS

Topic:
Reading: Revelation 20:12-15

Revelation 20:14 (KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Hell is not fictitious as many people may think it is to put fear in man; it is real. Although, it is not the final destination for sinners unredeemed, those who enter into hell cannot be part of the first resurrection (see Revelation 20:6).

In order not to be a victim of hell, one must have Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour, thus the need to proclaim Christ. For those who place their trust in reincarnation and do not believe in heaven and hell, think of this: how many times will a person come back to this world to pay for their sins? Also, where will they go after they have paid for their sins?

Jesus Christ is the only sure way to be redeemed of God. Hell is real. Even if there is reincarnation, it does not take away the fact that hell is real. Think wisely. Believe in the Lord Jesus and be saved. Tell the world that Jesus Christ saves, and that hell is a fact.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Jehovah Elohim, we worship you. Lord God, we trust in Your Word that is able to save from hell and eternal destruction. Keep us in Your Word as we proclaim Jesus. Amen.
