[20] But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
In today's passage, believers are reminded that their true citizenship is in heaven. This heavenly citizenship offers hope and perspective, assuring us that our ultimate home is with God.
We eagerly await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who will transform our bodies and bring about the fullness of His kingdom. This truth encourages us to live in a manner worthy of our heavenly calling, bringing the light of Christ into the world and making a difference as citizens of heaven.
Despite the groaning and challenges we face, as believers, our hope in our heavenly citizenship empowers us to live with boldness, love, and anticipation for our eternal destiny.

Heavenly Father, we bless You. Lord, help us not to lose focus on our heavenly citizenship, in Jesus' name. Amen.
