Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON LIVES FOR THE LORD
Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV)
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
An ambassador lives not for himself or herself, but for the country they represent. According to the English dictionary, an ambassador is a minister of the highest rank sent to a foreign court to represent there his sovereign or country. He is an official messenger or representative.
As Christ's ambassador, you represent Christ officially here on earth, entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. Many Christians have left this and are representing themselves instead.
Dear friend, God never counted our iniquities on us, but trusted us with His ministry of bringing the whole world to Himself through Christ. Let us live for Christ as His official representatives.
Shalom.
Let's Pray
Almighty Father, we give You Glory. All praise to You, o Lord God for not counting our sins on us. Empower us to live for Christ as His ambassadors. Amen.
