[23] Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
God takes no pleasure in the death of a sinner. Instead, His heart longs for reconciliation, redemption, and the restoration of every wayward soul.
This emphasizes the divine desire for repentance, urging us to turn away from our transgressions and embrace the path of righteousness.
Our mission is to share the good news that salvation is available to all, and God's joy is found in the repentance and transformation of every individual. Let us encourage all to turn God no matter what they may have done, for the Sovereign Lord is ever ready to save everyone.
