Pursue Godliness

Theme for the Week: A CALL TO GODLINESS

Reading: 1 Timothy 6:11-16
_______________________

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[11] But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

Amidst the clamor of worldly pursuits, the Apostle Paul directs our gaze toward the essence of a life anchored in God.

The charge is clear: flee from the fleeting allure of materialism and instead, with fervency, pursue the enduring treasures of righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness.

As we embark on this pursuit, let us heed the call to a godly life, recognizing that it is not merely a list of virtues but a transformative journey. Godliness is a state of being, a reflection of our intimate connection with our heavenly Father.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we find ultimate fulfilment in You, in Jesus' name. Amen.

A Relationship Of Mutual Relevance

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS WITH BELIEVERS

Reading: Ephesians 4:29-32
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[32] Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Paul introduces the concept of kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness. These virtues are the threads that weave the fabric of mutual relevance.

When we approach one another with kindness, maintaining tender hearts that empathize with the joys and struggles of fellow believers, we cultivate a community where every member is seen and valued.

As we embrace kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, we build a community where mutual relevance is not just a concept but a lived experience—a testament to the love and grace that bind us together in Christ.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may we be sober to forgive, in Jesus' name. Amen.
