Cleanse Out The Old Leaven

[7] Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Paul draws a significant parallel between the Jewish Passover and our Christian faith. He identifies Jesus the Christ as our Passover lamb, whose sacrifice provides spiritual deliverance and salvation.

Just as the Jews were to remove leaven from their homes during Passover, we are called to remove sin and impurity from our hearts and lives through faith in Christ.

Beloved friend, let us walk in the freedom and salvation offered by our Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, and recognize the essential role the Jews played in God's redemptive plan.

A Righteous Branch

[5] “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

Jeremiah's  prophecy points directly to Jesus Christ, the ultimate fulfillment of the promised Messiah. He is the Righteous Branch from the lineage of David, who came to establish a kingdom of justice, wisdom, and righteousness.

The Righteous Branch has come, and in Him, we find the fulfillment of God's promise and the hope of salvation for all who believe.

May we be grateful for the faithfulness of God and His plan to bring righteousness and justice to the world through Jesus Christ, our Savior.

God's Plan Of Salvation To All Nations

The divine call to Abraham marks the dawn of a covenant, a sacred promise from God. It not only holds great significance for the Jewish people but also for all of humanity.

The message of hope and redemption, initiated in the call to Abraham, was fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Dear friend, let us be messengers of this universal hope, sharing the good news that through Jesus Christ, *all people* have access to God's redemptive plan and have been reconnected to the kingdom of God.

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

[12] Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Peter makes it unequivocally clear that it is through Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah, that salvation and healing have come. There is no alternative path to reconciliation with God; it is through Christ alone that we find salvation.

The salvation offered through Jesus is the ultimate manifestation of God's love and grace. It is a gift to all humanity, made possible through the faith and heritage of the Jewish people.

Beloved friend, let us be grateful for the gift of salvation through Christ, embracing it and becoming instruments through which others will get to know.

Jesus Is The Only Way To The Father

[6] Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

It is essential to understand that Jesus is not merely one of many ways to God, but the only way. His words are not exclusionary but instead an invitation to all who seek eternal life and a restored relationship with the Father.

The Jewish people have a unique place in our faith's history, as they were the ones who received and preserved God's Word, leading up to the fulfillment of that Word in the person of Jesus Christ.

May we embrace the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and let His love and sacrifice be the focal point of our faith and our message of salvation to the world.

God Is Spirit

[24] God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

God is not confined to a physical form or place. He is spirit, and therefore, our worship of Him must be spiritual and truthful. It's not about rituals or external locations; it's about the condition of our hearts and the authenticity of our worship.

The Jewish people played a pivotal role in God's plan, and through them, our Savior, Jesus Christ, came into the world. Their story is a testament to God's faithfulness and His ability to work through specific people and events to bring salvation to all.

As we reflect on the relevance of the Jews to our salvation, let us remember that our faith is spiritual, and our worship of the Almighty is not confined to any earthly boundaries.
