God Gives Strength And Power

Theme for the Week: GOD'S IMMEASURABLE POWER FOR CHRISTIAN GROWTH

Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31
_______________________

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:29‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[29] He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

God is the Creator of the ends of the earth, and His understanding is beyond measure. Yet, He doesn't just hold power; He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

As Christians, we often face moments of exhaustion and weakness—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In those times, it is tempting to rely on our own strength or to give in to despair. But God invites us to turn to Him.

He promises to renew our strength and enable us to soar on wings like eagles, to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint.

Brethren, let us not underestimate the power available to us in God. When we feel weak, let us lean on Him and allow His strength to carry us through.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, may You empower us with much strength, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Our Relations To God

Theme for the Week: OUR RELATIONS TO GOD

Reading: Romans 12:1-2
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[1] Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Our connection to God goes beyond ritualistic offerings; it involves a transformative engagement of heart and mind. To present ourselves as living sacrifices means embracing a life of devotion, where every action and thought aligns with God's will.

Surrender is not a sign of weakness but a testament to trust. God desires a relationship with us that goes beyond mere conformity; He longs for our hearts to be molded by His love.

Dear friend, let our lives be living testimonies of the renewing power of God's love, as we allow Him to transform our minds and guide our actions.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, take hold of our minds, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Do Not Allow Anyone To Judge You By What You Eat.

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON ACCOMMODATES THE WEAK

Reading: Colossians 2:16-19

Colossians 2:16

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

This is one of the topics that calls for debate even among Christians, but I do not see any reason to walk with the shadow while the real person has come.

In every culture, there is a kind of diet that is most cherished. This means that what you may eat may differ from what others will eat considering where they are coming from. That does not disqualify them as Christians only if they have their faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

We must know that the Bible teaches us whom to worship and not how to worship. In that, let us not be despised, and neither should we despise others for the sake of diet,  but rather let us see to it that these do draw us closer to God and Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Shalom.

Let's Pray

Abba Father, be praised. Lord, teach me to love and not judge others for what they eat. Amen.

Do Not Deny God By Your Actions

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON ACCOMMODATES THE WEAK

Reading: Titus 1:12-16

Titus 1:16 (NIV)

They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

The way a person thinks and acts is affected by whatever they choose to fill their minds with. A weak mind is unstable, so it is difficult for it to see the good in everything.

It is easier for the weak mind to proclaim God with their lips and deny Him with their actions

Soundness in the faith is essential. It drives away all thoughts that makes us weak in the faith and align us with God and His Word.

Otherwise, we may say we are of God, but deny Him in what we do. Let us put away darkness and embrace the light we have in Christ that our minds will be sound and pure to reflect the nature of God in this evil world. It all starts with renewing the mind.

Shalom.

Let's Pray

Almighty God, I thank You for making pure in Christ. Father, may Your Spirit empower me to stay pure even in my actions, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be Careful So That What You Eat Does Not Offend Anyone

Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON ACCOMMODATES THE WEAK

Reading: 1 Corinthians 8:8-13

1 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV)

Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.

Weakness is an inadequate quality of a person. It is a fault that prevents someone from what is right for them.

I believe that the main cause of weakness in faith is the lack of knowledge. Like the child, everybody must learn to grow in faith. As a person grows, they begin to do what they were unable to do before, just like the child. Thus, those who refuse to grow in their faith in Christianity are tantamount to children.

It is therefore the duty of the matured to nurture these babes in Christ in a way they can comprehend, so that they go not wayward. Since you cannot give the food of the matured to a babe,  so must you not cause the weak in Christ to sin because of what you do.

Stay blessed.

Let's Pray

Everlasting Father, I adore You. Lord, may my actions and ability never cause a believer to sin, in Jesus' name. Amen.
