Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON ACCOMMODATES THE WEAK
Reading: James 4:11-12
James 4:12
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you —who are you to judge your neighbor?
Many people are busily criticizing others for their wrongs while neglecting their core Christian duty of love. All their speeches is full of judgment as if they gave the law to man.
Yes, you can reprove sometimes, but do not sound judgemental. Jesus Christ told the apostle the master's statement about the weeds and wheat; he said, let both grow together until the harvest... (see Mt 13:24-30).
Dear believer, we are not in the position to judge others. Jehovah, the Lawgiver is the only Judge over all. Our duty is to obey Him in spite of what others may do or not concerning His Word and Law; for at the time of harvest, everything will be bare.
Stay blessed.
Let's Pray
Lord God Almighty, may Your name be praised. Father, I know that You are the Judge of all: teach me to love and not judge others. Amen.
