Ɛyɛ ahomete sɛ yɛ bɛka sɛ "gyidie wɔ akoma mu" wɔ abrɛ a yɛntumi mmɔ abrabɔ a ɛfata yɛn gyidie no. Saa ara nti na Akristofoɔ beberee ntumi nnyɛ krado sɛ wɔbɛ bua nsɛmmisa a ɛfa wɔn gyidie wɔ Awurade Yesu Kristo mu no ho.

Sɛ ɛba sɛ yɛreyi nsɛmmisa fa yɛn gyidie ho a, ɛnyɛ sɛ yɛrema yɛn ho so anaasɛ ahantan ntira; na mmom ɛyɛ ɔkwan a yɛrefa so aka nea Yesu ayɛ wɔ yɛn abrabɔ mu. Ɛyɛ aniwuo sɛ obi bɛfrɛ ne ho Kristoni nanso ɔntumi nyi ano wɔ abrɛ a yɛbɛbisa no sɛ "Okristoni ne hwan?"

Sɛ ɛnte saa dea, ɛnneɛ etwa sɛ wohwɛ wo ho na wo bɔ abrabɔ a ɛfata wo gyidie no; na wo ayɛ krado ayi obiara a ɔbɛbisa wo anidaso wɔ Yesu Kristo mu no ho asɛm.

Be Ready For a Witness

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

The concept that "faith is in the heart" without living an exemplary lifestyle is very annoying. That has made many Christians not prepared to give an answer to their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Answering questions concerning your faith is not being proud or rude; it is a means you can tell about what Christ has done in your life. It is very appalling to see someone called a Christian not being able to tell who a Christian is when asked.

Dear friend, it is high time we awoke from the slumber and studied to show ourselves approved; rightly dividing the word of truth.

Are you prepared to tell someone why you believe in Jesus Christ in meekness?
If not, then check yourself and live a life that will justify the hope you profess; and that you will be ready to answer anyone concerning your hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Almighty God, be praised forever. Father, may You keep us in Your will and teach us by Your Spirit that we will be ready for a witness about our faith in Jesus Christ. Amen.
