Theme for the Week: THE BELIEVER'S RESPONSE TO GOD'S ELECTION
Reading: James 2:5-9

James 2:8 NIV
[8] If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.
Today, we see a challenge to align our attitudes and actions with God's values, particularly in how we treat others based on societal status.
God's election, seen in His choice of the poor to be rich in faith, urges believers to value people according to His standards rather than worldly norms.
The message prompts self-examination, urging us to stand on the side of God's kingdom by practicing humility, love, and obedience, rejecting favoritism and embodying the royal law of loving neighbors as ourselves.
By doing so, we authentically respond to God's election, reflecting His love and justice, and extending His grace to a world in need of Christ's transformative love.
Shalom.
Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we bless You. Lord, help us to choose as You have chosen, in Jesus' name. Amen.
