Theme for the Week: THE TRANSFORMED PERSON BUILDS UP THE WEAK IN FAITH
Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:23-33
1 Corinthians 10:33 (KJV)
Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
Everything in the world belongs to Jehovah, our God, and this gives His children the right to enjoy them; for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof (Psalms 24:1a; 1 Cor. 10:26).
Nonetheless, our freedom should never cause others to stumble. It must seek for their good and help to build them up. This is why Paul said that it better to go straight and eat what you want to eat, rather than seeking what others think about it.
Dear one, let us be conscious of what we do, knowing that all things are lawful to us, but all things are not expedient, because not all things edify. Seek the good of others.
Shalom.
Let's Pray
Heavenly Father, to You be all blessing and honour. Fill us up, Holy Spirit, that we will seek the good of others all the time. Amen.
