God Is Merciful

Theme for the Week: THERE IS HOPE FOR THE UNBELIEVING PERSONS/ PEOPLE

Reading: Jonah 3:1-5
_______________________

‭‭Jonah‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[2] “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”

God's mercy knows no bounds. No matter how wayward or unbelieving a person or community may be, God is always ready to extend His hand of mercy when there is genuine repentance.

God is eager to forgive, transform, and grant a fresh start to those who turn to Him with contrite hearts.

No matter how far someone may have strayed, remind them of God's loving mercy, as demonstrated in the story of Nineveh. Encourage them to turn to God in humility and faith, for He is ready to offer forgiveness and hope.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, through Your mercy, reach out to all men, in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Is Merciful

Theme for the Week: THE UNBELIEVER'S RESPONSE TO GOD'S ELECTION

Reading: Romans 9:14-16
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[16] It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

God's character is one of boundless mercy and compassion. His election is not unjust but rather a reflection of His gracious nature.

God's mercy extends to all, irrespective of human desire or effort, and His election is based on His unfathomable compassion.

As believers, we are called to reflect this mercy to others, including unbelievers, in our interactions, extending the invitation to know God and experience His boundless compassion through faith in Christ.
Stay blessed. Shabbat Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, show us Your mercy, in Jesus' name. Amen.
