The Triune God Involved In Salvation

Theme for the Week: CELEBRATING THE TRIUNE GOD

Reading: 1 Peter 1:1-2
_______________________

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[2] who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Throughout this week, we have been studying the need to celebrate the Triune God.
Today, Peter highlights the active involvement of the Triune God in our salvation. We are chosen by the Father, sanctified by the Spirit, and cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son.

This passage reveals the unity and cooperation within the Godhead as they work together for our redemption. The Father's choice, the Spirit's sanctification, and the Son's sacrifice demonstrate the divine orchestration of our salvation.

As we reflect on this truth, let us respond with gratitude and embrace our chosenness, yield to the sanctifying work of the Spirit, and live in the power of the cleansing blood of Jesus.
Stay blessed. Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. O how our hearts are filled with gratitude for the Triune God's involvement in our salvation! May we live as transformed people, reflecting the love and grace of our Triune God to the world, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Unity In The Godhead

Theme for the Week: CELEBRATING THE TRIUNE GOD

Reading: 1 Peter 4:1-3
_______________________

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[4] There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;

We are called today as believers to walk in unity, drawing inspiration from the unity found within the Godhead. Paul emphasizes the importance of humility, gentleness, patience, and love in preserving and promoting unity.

He highlights the one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism that unify us as believers, one God and Father of all. By embracing these truths and displaying unity amidst diversity, we reflect the nature of God and bear witness to His love and grace.

Dear friend, let us diligently pursue unity, maintaining the bond of peace, and walking in a manner worthy of our calling, as we strive to exemplify the unity found within the Godhead.
Shalom.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we praise You. Lord, unite us in the Spirit of love, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Security In The Godhead

Theme for the Week: CELEBRATING THE TRIUNE GOD

Reading: 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
_______________________

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[22] set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

In today's passage, Paul assures believers of the security found within the Godhead. Through Christ, we are anointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, finding our identity and purpose in Him.

The Holy Spirit serves as a seal, marking us as God's own and offering protection.
Furthermore, the presence of the Holy Spirit within us serves as a deposit, guaranteeing the fulfillment of God's promises and our eternal inheritance.

This understanding of our security in the Godhead brings comfort, confidence, and peace in our journey of faith, as we rest in the unchanging love and faithfulness of our Triune God.
Stay blessed.

Reading: Romans 16:25-27
_______________________

‭‭Romans‬ ‭16:27‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[27] to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

The Apostle Paul's doxology emphasizes the involvement of the Trinity in our worship and praise. He acknowledges the Father as the revealer of the mystery of salvation, the Son as the source of grace and reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit as the empowering presence in our lives.

This passage reminds us to honor and glorify each person of the Trinity, recognizing their distinct roles in our spiritual journey.

As we engage in doxology, dear believers, may we overflow with gratitude for the Father's plan, the Son's grace, and the Holy Spirit's empowerment, giving glory and praise to our Triune God.
Shalom.

To You, O Jehovah, we ascribe all glory and honor, acknowledging the empowerment of the Holy Spirit within us, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Trinity Involved In The Promise Of The Holy Spirit

Theme for the Week: CELEBRATING THE TRIUNE GOD

Reading: John 14:15-17
_______________________

John 14:16 KJV
[16]And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;

Jesus, the Son, promises to ask the Father, who will send the Holy Spirit as our Helper and Advocate. This reveals the unity and cooperation within the Trinity, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work together to fulfill this promise. Through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, believers are comforted, guided, and empowered in their journey of faith.

The involvement of the Trinity in the promise of the Holy Spirit teaches us the significance of obedience and love for Jesus. It reminds us of the vital role of the Holy Spirit in illuminating Scripture, convicting our hearts, and equipping us to live out our faith.

By embracing the promise of the Holy Spirit, we experience the transformative power of God's presence in our lives and are empowered to be faithful disciples of Christ, shining His light and sharing His love with others.
Selah.

Let's Pray:
Almighty God, we exalt You. Father, may we walk in obedience and gratitude, relying on the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit as we navigate our journey of faith, in Jesus' name. Amen.

[22] and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

The Triune God in action at Jesus' baptism calls us to embrace the unity, love, and empowering presence of God in our lives. Celebrating The Triune God

Theme for the Week: CELEBRATING THE TRIUNE GOD

Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:11-14

_______________________

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭13:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[14] May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

The concept of trinity is one of the topics that has been debated over the years, even among Christians. Although the word does not come up in any of the scripts of the Bible, its essence is seen throughout the Bible.

The Triune God is a source of joy that transcends circumstances, offering restoration and renewal through the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Paul calls believers to aim for restoration, participating in God's work of reconciling brokenness and fostering healing in relationships and communities.

Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of living in peace, reflecting the reconciling nature of the Father, the sacrificial love of the Son, and the harmonizing power of the Holy Spirit.

By embracing the unity and love of the Triune God, believers are called to be ambassadors of peace in a world marked by division, showcasing the transformative power of God's presence in their lives.

Let's Pray:

Gracious Father, we praise You. Lord God, may we be one as You are one, in Jesus' name. Amen.
