[6] Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.
To “train” a child means more than simply instructing them — it involves shaping their hearts, modeling godly character, and guiding their steps in every season of life.
Christian parenting is not just about correcting wrong behavior, but about actively teaching and demonstrating the principles of faith, love, responsibility, and obedience to God.
Our children are like arrows, and it is our duty to aim them in the right direction. Let us commit to training our children according to God’s ways, guiding them to walk in His truth, and trusting in His faithfulness to keep them close to Him as they grow.
