Theme for the Week: THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Reading: 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7

2 Thessalonians 2:6 NIV
[6] And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit as a restrainer is a testament to God's sovereignty and His control over the unfolding of history.
Despite the rampant sin and rebellion in the world, the Holy Spirit is actively working to limit the spread of evil and to maintain a measure of order and righteousness.
This truth should fill us with both comfort and urgency. Comfort, because we know that God is still in control, and urgency, because this period of restraint is also a period of grace—an opportunity for the church to fulfill its mission.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who restrains the forces of evil in this world. Help us to be faithful instruments of Your will, living righteously and bearing witness to Your truth, in Jesus' name. Amen.
