[42] They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
The early Christians not only responded to the message of salvation but also committed themselves to prayer. Prayer is more than a religious routine; it is a lifeline to the believer.
The early believers understood the power of persistent prayer, recognizing its significance in their spiritual journey. In our communication with God, we find strength, wisdom, and a deepening intimacy with our Heavenly Father.
In moments of joy and sorrow, let prayer be our instinct, knowing that the Holy Spirit, our divine guarantee, intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
