The Spirit Breathes Life

Theme for the Week: POWER FROM ON HIGH

Reading: Ezekiel 37:11-14

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[14] I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’ ”

The prophet finds himself in the midst of a valley filled with dry bones, a vivid representation of hopelessness and despair. Yet, in the face of this seemingly impossible situation, God asks Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?"

It is a question that challenges our faith and invites us to trust in the power of God's Spirit to bring life where there is death.

What was once dry and lifeless gets life and restoration through the God's Spirit. It reminds us that no matter how dry or lifeless our circumstances may seem, the Spirit of God is able to breathe life into them.

God's Spirit breathes life into our broken relationships, bringing healing and reconciliation. It breathes life into our wounded souls, bringing comfort and restoration. It breathes life into our weary spirits, infusing us with renewed strength and purpose.

The Spirit not only brings life to the dead, but He also dwells within us, empowering us to live abundant and transformed lives.

As believers, we have the privilege of experiencing the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit who guides, empowers, and transforms us from within. The Spirit leads us into a deeper relationship with God, opens our eyes to His truth, and empowers us to live in obedience and love.

In the midst of dryness and despair, let us hold onto the promise that the Spirit of God can breathe life into the most lifeless situations. May we lean on the Spirit's power and trust in His guidance as we navigate the ups and downs of life.
Stay blessed.

Let's Pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You. Lord God, May Your Spirit breathes life into every aspect of our beings, bringing renewal, joy, and hope, in Jesus' name. Amen.
