Theme for the Week: SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS
Reading: 1 Peter 2:13-17

1 Peter 2:16 (NIV)
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.
Living as God's slaves or as slaves to righteousness does not mean we should be in isolation and neglect every other man; it is a call to be submissive.
However, submitting to man does not mean we should compromise our faith in the Lord. If we would be persecuted, it should be standing for the truth, and not disobeying a moral law.
Beloved friend, we are God's servants and are accountable to God, so we must submit to man in a way that pleases God. We must live as free people who would not compromise their faith because of the evil deeds of man.
