This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, passionately addresses a critical issue that still resonates with us today: the question of faith versus works of the law.
Works of the law, though important, cannot save us. They are unable to erase our sins or earn us favour with God. Instead, they serve as a response to our faith, an outpouring of gratitude and obedience to the One who has already saved us.
Therefore, dear friend, let us hold firm to the truth that it is faith in Christ that justifies us. Let us not be entangled in legalistic rituals or believe that our own efforts can secure our salvation.
