Theme for the Week: SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS
Reading: John 8:31-38

John 8:34 (NIV)
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
Yesterday, we learnt that whom you obey determines whom you are a slave to.
As we move on today, it is important to state emphatically that you must not be a slave to sin.
Being slave to sin means that you obey sin at all times. It means that sin has influence over you.
Glory be to God for providing a solution in Jesus Christ, in whom there is grace and truth. Now that we know the truth, let us allow the truth to set us free by obeying the words of our Lord and master Jesus Christ.
